Food was delicious. We had roast beef dinner, mince and dumplings and hot broth, all three were fantastic, can't fault any of them we even bought some cakes to take away with us. We visited the farm shop as well and bought some all day breakfast sausages back bacon and some fresh bread, all 5 stars

Had one standard breakfast which includes 2 of everything and one small breakfast which is one of everything, can't complain about any of it, they were delicious and I ate everything on the plate, latte was a bit strong for my taste but I still finished it. We went into the shop and the assistant was very friendly, we bought cake and bread, both delicious. We will be back again

We both had loaded chunky chips, one sweet chilli and the other double cheese, both very nice, cost £8.95 each, once again my latte was too strong and not that hot so if you prefer a one shot latte, I would not recommend it and I will be ordering something else next time. The only real complaint we have is with regard to the car park, there are no disabled places and today when we arrived, there were no spaces left except for electric chargering points (4) but after waiting 5 mins, got a space after someone left the cafe but 3 cars came in just after us (all petrol-diesel) and they parked in the electric charging spaces. The car park needs sorting ASAP, maybe separate part for those just visiting the shop and most definitely there is a need for wider disabled spaces (well marked) we were very disappointed with the layout of this carpark plus the road into the area is in a shocking state, pot holes everywhere, my husband was very upset as he was driving his new car

Amazing food, breakfast was absolutely astounding, lovely setting and even better fact we went to a friends wedding at their venue the night before, again great service, the staff couldn't do more for you.
Friendly, welcoming, great prices and great food. Plus near some interesting farm animals and the kids love it! Perfect lunch time treat or weekend brunch!

What a great experience today at Broom Mill Farm. Pleasant surroundings and sat down within 5 minutes of getting there and menu on table and order placed and served within another 5 minutes. Staff really pleasant and smiling and also very considerate.

Absolut gem of a find. If you like to know your food this place is great. Gras fed well cared for and butchered on site. Best for you and best for the environment.
Shop local were you can.

Very friendly and cozy place to have coffee and buy your fresh beef cuts from the butcher. They also have fresh quail eggs and chicken eggs. Limited variety of fresh vegetables. Here is their menu. I ordered espresso and they got me that much milk which I mixed all and it tasted like a very tasty cappuccino:), will definitely come back!

I found the staff pleasant and helpful in the restaurant. In the shop I bought a steak pie which was filled with meat and quite nice. There was a lemon drizzle cake with cream but it really was overloaded with sugar and we couldn't eat it. Although it looked lovely.

Lovely farm cafe, located on the outskirts of Bishop Auckland. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Had a wonderful Saturday morning Farmhouse Breakfast, which was great value, good portion size and locally sourced, quality ingredients... Magic ... The staff confirmed that the bacon and sausages were from animals raised on the farm itself. Can't get more local than that.
If you like your traditional English breakfasts then you will enjoy this little gem.
